| Question for Juxta regarding Spotify Playlists: Are the bands/artists contained in the playlist blocked from seeing it? Specifically, I have a playlist--understandably, it wouldn`t come up for me in the Spotify Playlist rotation. What I need to know is if everybody on that playlist, Aranads, Ron D Bowe, Dekkoes and many others would be blocked from it?

| Of course, we can`t listen to our own playlists here. My question is about the artists on our playlist. If they have one song on it, would they be barred from the whole playlist? Doesn`t seem likely somebody would want to listen to their own track over and over for 20mins. They wouldn`t get any atomcollectorrecord credits if they did, right? If all of the rockers are barred from a rock playlist, that leaves other genres who aren`t gonna like it much. |

 | The reason is to keep things simple.
On a technical level it is the same code that is used for tracks and some people would just keep skipping to their own tracks to get their credits up.
Also whilst I appreciate that you may want to listen to your own playlists the point of the site is to get more unique plays for everyone so the playlists start to show up in the artist`s profiles on Spotify. You have to have 25 unique listeners to your track on a given playlist per month for it to show up. |

| Is there a reason to block us from playing our own playlists? Some of mine feature other ACR artists, so I wouldn`t mind listening through here. Presumably the credit would just come off and be put back on again by the system? |

The best tip I can give you is to add as many tracks as possible from all the platforms you are on.
At the moment SoundCloud and Spotify playlists work best as they have the most listeners.

| Hi Atomic people!
I`m thinking about buying Logic Pro, but not totally convinced it`s the right software for me. I`m nervous about paying £200 without trying it out first, so I`m thinking about buying a £5 version off Ebay, just to try before I buy. Has anyone had any experience of using Logic Pro software from Ebay? Any problems with viruses, losing files etc??

| I have a legit copy of Logic and love it. I have no idea if the copy you`re looking at getting will work. Sounds risky, but the official version is great - lots of synths to fiddle with, sampling and so on, it`s a good value option if you have already invested in a Mac. |

| As absolutely anyone can sell on eBay so there is always a risk as they do not have any kind of virus checking that I am aware of however I have Logic Pro and I love it!
If you have used GarageBand then it`s a "no brainer" as the user interface is the same with a million more options, so you will already feel comfortable using it.
Back the to virus question - if you are installing it on a Mac you are unlikely to get a virus and also you can check the sellers rating. If people were getting viruses from their software then I doubt they would have a very good rating! | |

| Hi, I`m not sure where to put this so I apologize if it`s the wrong place! But I really like the listen page except for one thing, I`ve connected my SoundCloud but can`t get the "like" button to work on the embedded player. Does anyone else have this issue?

This is out of our control unfortunately as it is a problem with the SoundCloud embedded player.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn`t.
Most of us have got into the habit of right clicking and opening tracks on SoundCloud in a new tab so we can like it. | |
