Ron D Bowes is a UK rock musician who has been round the block once or twice. Back in the day, he was known as Boz Bowes and played bass and sang vocals in numerous semi-pro bands in 70s, such as Midnight Circus, Palantir, Stag, Gambler and Sneak Preview. He played bass for David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator) on some of his demo work. He has collaborated with Trevor Thornton: Drummer (Asia, Saxon and others), Ray Brookes: Multi-instumentalist (ex-Rory Gallagher Band), Kathy Shortt: Singer (Kathy & the Shortt-List) and Fred White: Drummer (DirtPile). He played in Stag at Windsor free festival on the same billing as Hawkwind. In the 80s He helped form `Shoot the Butler` who released an indie album, cut at Abbey Road studio. then he went back to gigging for a while. After that, a return to the studio for a cassette release called `Final Curtain` by Flix. A period of10 years in the wilderness followed, as Ron concentrated on family life. Now he`s back and rocking!!!
